(NOTE: older editions of this list remain available on-line) As of the date above, this list provides more detailed information on the 386 Nevada animal taxa included in the Nevada At-risk Animal Tracking List and the Nevada Plant and Animal Watch List, including numbers of extant occurrences separated by at least 1 km, maximum range size, known abundance and area totals, family name; month(s) most frequently observed; elevation range; historic geographic range by county (inside Nevada), state (currently VERY incomplete for animals), and Nevada land manager(s); historic population trend when known; and the most recent and average years of observation. All these data are valid for the collective Nevada occurrences only, and should not be extrapolated to other states or regions. Furthermore, these data reflect only what was entered in our computer databases as of the above date; additional information for some species may await processing in paper files, or may have been entered subsequently. Further information may be available on-line for some taxa in other lists or reports, or as maps or images, and general information is available for nearly all taxa on the NatureServe Explorer web site.
