LIST OF TAXA WITH SENSITIVE LOCATION DATA
(18 March 2004)

As of the date above, some or all occurrences of the following at-risk animals and plants and watch-list taxa are considered especially vulnerable to poaching, vandalism, harassment, hobby collecting, or other intentional or unintentional disturbances. Most of these taxa are raptors, bats, or cacti. Because the mission of the Nevada Natural Heritage Program includes helping to prevent the need for new or prolonged species listings, we normally withhold the precise locations of such occurrences to minimize the potential for damage to them. We do provide general, broad and imprecise location data for these occurrences, generally down to the county, map quadrangle, and/or township level. Changes to this list since 15 February 2001 are shown in red.
