INDEX TO AVAILABLE ANIMAL AND OTHER IMAGES

Recently added taxa or images are marked new item!. In-house images are available in both larger higher-resolution (slower) and smaller lower-resolution (faster) versions. Very-high resolution (publication-quality) versions of some images can be made available on request. We also provide links to images of species of interest on other web sites as they come to our attention. Such images will be labeled OFF-SITE, and any copyright protections asserted on their host web sites must be respected. Links to other web sites of general interest for their image collections are provided at the bottom of this page. All in-house images, hosted by the Nevada Natural Heritage Program (NNHP) web site, are placed in the public domain for non-commercial use only. The photographers and/or their organizations retain all other copyrights, and use of these images for any other purpose is unlawful. We are grateful to the photographers who have contributed images to this page, and we request that use of these images always be accompanied by proper credits to the photographer, their organization, and this web site. New contributions of good-quality, sharp images of Nevada rare species are always welcomed and credited whenever used. Uncompressed (100%-quality) digital images at least 500 x 750 pixels in size are most readily added, and prints or slides are also welcome - contact the Web Page Coordinator for more information.

NOTE: the indexes to plant, fungus, and lichen images are now maintained on separate pages to reduce download times.

JUMP TO: non-vascular or vascular plants (A-E, F-Z), fungi and lichens, invertebrates, fishes, amphibians, reptiles, mammals, birds, plant communities (4947kB), miscellaneous images, other animal web sites
