NATIVE REPTILES OF NEVADA (18 June 2002) |
|
As of the date above, the following 54 native reptile taxa are known by the Nevada Natural Heritage Program to occur presently, historically, or temporarily, within the State of Nevada. The taxa included in this list reflect the taxonomic opinions and interpretations of the Nevada Natural Heritage Program, and may therefore differ from lists originating elsewhere. We welcome documentation for taxa that should be added to or removed from this list. Some of the following taxa are tracked on the at-risk animal tracking list or the watch-list of the Nevada Natural Heritage Program. Further information is available on-line for most of these taxa in our Detailed Rare Animal List, and for some taxa in other lists or reports, or as maps or images. General information is available for nearly all taxa on the NatureServe Explorer web site. This list may be printed from your browser on letter-size paper in portrait format with 0.5-inch side margins. Click on the heading at the top of a column for an explanation of that column. |
