Habitat Comments:Foothills of desert mountains, calcareous outwash fans and gravelly flats, sometimes in sandy soil. Associated plants are Larrea tridentata, Ambrosia dumosa, Oryzopsis hymenoides, Hymenoclea salsola, Coleogyne ramosissima, Hilaria rigida, Krameria parvifolia, Astragalus geyeri var. triquetrus, etc.
