Habitat Comments:Deep sand of active dunes, interdune areas, and vegetated dunes and aeolian deposits in the shadscale, salt desert, and sagebrush zones with Tetradymia, Atriplex canescens, Astragalus geyeri var. geyeri, Psoralidium lanceolatum, Achnatherum hymenoides, Gilia leptomeria, Ericameria nauseosa, Artemisia tridentata, etc.
