VIRTUAL LIBRARY

The Nevada Natural Heritage Program's Virtual Library is an organized collection of citations and links to external on-line publications important to the understanding and/or management of at-risk plants, animals, vegetation types, and ecosystems in Nevada. These are typically large and/or frequently updated works (or those not available in any other form), for which we maintain reference records in our databases, but which do not necessarily need to be maintained as hard-copies in our files. This Virtual Library serves as a ready reference tool for both Natural Heritage Program staff and for the general public.

This collection grows continually as new on-line references are brought to the attention of the Webmaster. The most recent additions are marked with the symbol . On-line publications of the Nevada Natural Heritage Program are accessed separately via our Reports and Publications page. Many other references important to our work are listed on our Recommended Readings page. Many on-line publications are served in PDF format, and most computers already have the necessary software to read and print such documents. If yours does not, you will need to download the free Adobe® Acrobat® Reader plug-in first. Please bring broken links or new on-line references to the attention of the Webmaster.
